FOYC community sailing has historically collaborated with the university sailing club.
Between the two groups, our current (2024) fleet includes:
2 – Flying Scots (19′)
1 – Hobie Catamaran (16′)
2 – JYs (15′)
1 – Vagabond (14′)
6 – Vanguard Club FJs (13′)
2 – Alcort Sunfish (13′)
1 – Open Bic (9′)
These boats are used in teaching our group lessons. Almost all are also available for use by members (once certified). We require users wear PFDs. Outside of community sailing hours, there should be a certified skipper aboard any boat.
Members also have use of ten kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.
